Jumbo is a top supermarket in the Netherlands, known for its fast deliveries across the country. The Jumbo Distribution Centers help by preparing many orders every day to keep the stores fully stocked.
You can work at distribution centers in cities like Breda, Nieuwegein, Veghel, and Woerden; choose the one that suits you best.
What your tasks are
As an order picker at Jumbo, you'll be picking groceries from various parts of the warehouse using tools like hand scanners or voice-picking systems while driving an EPT. You will be trained to do tasks like:
- Picking groceries using a hand or voice-picking system (depending on location)
- Lifting packages of different weights
- Sealing pallets and preparing them for shipment
- Driving an EPT (Electric Pallet Truck)
Work schedule:
You will work from Monday to Saturday, and on Sundays, with a flexible schedule. You will work morning, afternoon, and night shifts depending on the location or busy period. If you work evenings, night or weekends, you'll receive extra pay for those hours. Additionally, if you work more hours than your regular schedule, you will also get paid for overtime. This means you have the opportunity to earn more money.
What you need to be successful
- Experience driving EPT or willing to get certified
- Willing to work in different shifts
- Good physical conditions
- Willing to work in different temperature zones
- Good communication skills in English and/or Dutch
